Ascension’s success is driven by our years of experience, adapting to new technologies and continuous training to provide the best property management in Houston. We prioritize building a strong company culture by fostering collaboration between Corporate and On-Site even from afar. For example, Melody Rodsuwan from Marketing/Corporate initiated a visit to Saxon Pond Flats and Skyview Flats to increase collaboration. Together, Marketing and Leasing stay aligned and ultimately drive continued success.
AI has evolved from just being simple chatbots, it’s now more integrated with our technology and operations. This also changes how renters rent from us and we must stay ahead of the curve and exceed new standards. Not only do we have to be well-versed in using the AI tools, we have to learn how to make it more efficient. At Saxon Pond Flats, Melody and Denys Salazar, Assistant Manager discovered ways to use our property management system to its full potential by leveraging automated yet personalized emails when communicating with prospects. By embracing technology, we stay competitive and provide a more enhanced renter experience.

Even though paying attention to technologies is important, we also invest in physical and in-person marketing and create authentic connections as well. At Skyview Flats, Areana Ortiz, Leasing Specialist and Marissa Garcia, Leasing Specialist showed Melody how they work with local businesses and prospects in-person. With in-person intel, we are able to tell what resonated with the audience like what specials are more attractive and Marketing is able to confirm with the data. Courtney Matcek, Assistant Manager was able to show what it took to keep residents satisfied and help Marketing by maintaining a high rating community while Marketing works on keeping the review site optimized. Teri Jacobs, Area Manager, also took Melody on a property tour and showcased the effective selling tactics and how it could align with marketing strategies. These in-person interactions and aligned strategies of Marketing and Leasing amplify renter service.

With Marketing (Corporate) visit Leasing (On-Site), we were able to understand the nuances that couldn’t be relayed over a phone call or video meeting. We were able to see each other’s perspectives on a deeper level. This prevented siloed thinking and fostered a collaborative culture that is essential to our success in property management. By aligning our goals and promoting open communication, we have been able to define roles effectively and appreciate the unique contributions of each team member.
